If the game is finished, then what’s the point of crowdfunding? A good question!

It begins with a promise: Open Set does not sell AI content.

AI is a tool that cannot be put back into the chest, but it can be treated with concern and wielded with care.

All current Marketing-only copies of Skein: Threadbare utilized AI images to fill its pages for demonstration purposes only. They are placeholder.

These copies will NOT be sold.

Nothing can or will replace the real thing. A real artist with real vision.

And that takes money. That's not a bad thing. Artists eat too. When they can.

The primary intent of the KS is to gather the funds to incorporate Human art within the copies that have already been seen on review channels and played at cons and some select game stores.

Then take that artwork and deliver a fresh print run to get a new game into your hands.
